I rarely turn my cellphone on, so when I did, a couple of days ago, I was surprised to see a message.
Msg: "So are you coming over to my house tonight?"
Me: *thinks, "Well, since I have no clue who the fuck you are, probably not"*
I texted back: "I think you have the wrong number."
Now, normally this results in silence or "Oops, sorry".
Not this time.
Msg. #2: "Who is this then?"
Me: *thinks "Okay, WTF, WHY do you need to know that?"
Me (texting back): "Not the person you're looking for."
Msg. #3: "Who are you then?"
Me: BLOCK.
It left me wondering, belatedly, if this was some form of phishing I hadn't heard from before. At some point in the next day or so I'll see if I can find out who the phone number belongs to.
