Over the last week we've done downtown Houston, taken in a footie game watching Houston Dynamo (they are awful... 3-0 down after 20 minutes),visited the aquarium and made friends with a stingray and taken in a softball game (go Katy Tigers!),did Galveston, got a magical helicopter trip up above the island,made more reptilian friends at Moody Gardens and a fabulous collection of old memorabilia at the Katy Heritage Museum.
*Check out the film Tomboy and the Champ-it was filmed here in the 1960s when this was just a few houses, drugstore, school and lots of farms. (Warning,contains lots of denim and cornsap)
Tonight will be rounding off with a trip to America's finest to see some owls. Apparently that's where the name comes from right-nice birds that hoot?
