Any of you rasslin' fans remember GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling)?

I remember it from years ago. One of the matches actually caused me to have a nightmare for weeks. I was a kid when it was on.

It was a tag match between "The Cheerleaders", and "The Headhunters".

There was a spot during the match where one of the cheerleaders was attempting a sunset flip on the opponent, something went dreafully wrong, and she dislocated her elbow -- badly. It gave me nightmares for weeks. It was reminiscent of the Sycho Sid injury. Gruesome on that level...

I'm actually a bit surprised they showed that match, TBH...

Never saw any on TV but the video store I worked at had a GLOW video for rent. I remember bad comedy skits and wrestlers rapping for their intros. It was not good.

I do remember reading that one of the wrestlers went on to the WWF... "Tina Ferrari" would go on to be Ivory.

I also remember "Matilda the Hun", aka. Dee Booher, and seeing her in a few movie roles. Sadly she passed away last month, she had been ill for a few years and needed a wheelchair.
