Rasslin' fans...would this storyline have worked?

I was wondering about something the other day. Would a "Boogeyman" vs Deadman Undertaker storyline have worked?

Part of the Boogeyman gimmick was that he creeped people out, and people were afraid of him. But how do you handle someone who isn't creeped out by or afraid of you?

And would Boogeyman have been "afraid" of Deadman Undertaker?

Of course a story line like that would never work. That's why it would end up being a cult classic of some sort. Go for it.

Boogeyman was active in the WWE between 2005 -2007... at that time the Undertaker was feuding with Orton, JBL, Angle, and that whole failed Hassan mess...

I don't know if it would have worked, because Boogey was a 'monster' but the fans sure liked him, and it's not like the WWE to book face vs. face feuds.

Yeah, I don't think it would have worked, Boogeyman wasn't the greatest worker, and was presented as a face. He would have needed to turn heel to feud with Taker, since at that time, Taker had reached "permanent face" status.
