    Two amusing Harry Potter "observations"...

    My wife pointed out one, and I made a reference to the other:

    1. Dumbledore, the most powerful wizard in the Wizarding World, is basically a high school principal.
    2. Draco Malfoy is the Johnny Lawrence of the Harry Potter universe.
    Skilled programmers aren't cheap. Cheap programmers aren't skilled.

    That comment makes me wonder what it would have been like if Jeffery Jones (principal in Ferris Bueller's Day Off) had played Dumbledore.

      Considering Jones is a registered sex offender for crimes involving minors, not a good idea to have him around that many kids.
