Any Canucks help?

Somebody posted this one of our Facebook feeds and couldn't identify it
The left-hand one is vaguely familiar, but the right-hand flag has everyone baffled- some sort of Canadian Greenland flag was suggested?

The one on the left is the Canadian flag, the one on the right is ...
It's definitely not the Greenland flag. That flag is split in half with white on the top and red on the bottom; it has a circle close to the left-hand side of the flag with the colours of the circle reversed (red on top, white on the bottom).
Japan has a red circle in the middle of their flag, but the rest of the flag is white; there's no red squares on it.

I found a Wikipedia page that has every damn flag in Canada, including the flag of the Canadian Flag Society (no, seriously). There are flags in there I'd never even have suspected to exist. It's just barely possible it might be a flag of a First Nations people (Native Americans) because there is a link on that page to their flags ... but the vast majority of FN flags don't have a description or an image.

I did a Google search of "red and white flags" around the world. Came up with about a dozen but that one wasn't among them.

I even did a reverse image search and even that came up with nothing. This makes me wonder if it's an AI image ... ?

Anyway, it was certainly entertaining. Sorry I couldn't be of any help.
