I wouldn't be surprised to find out they keep notes hidden in the house with entries like:

This correlates with May 15, 2011, 09:32:55, when human also failed to notice "WTF" overtones. Am becoming concerned that WTF overtones have lost effectiveness. Must conduct further testing to determine if this is true. Might have to resort to pitiable cries next.
