Junior Mintz - wow I knew that making the list and tracking it takes a lot of work. Who would have thought that come 3 months (plus) later you would still be having to keep notes.

I do know I have my cards already bought for next year . . .but I will make sure I can afford the postage before I sign up. (At the moment I am still out of work)

Hilariously enough, people are *still* PMing me to tell me they working to get their cards out...
Well I just addressed an envelope to Steverino - third times a charm, right?

I bought a book of stamps today...almost bought several for this year's Christmas cards, but I think I'll do that in another week or so.

God bless the man who invented forever stamps.

    /kisses a booklet of them
I asked my roommate if she knew what the new price was going to be, and she didn't. She asked me what they are now...I said, "I don't know...that's why I get forever stamps, so I don't have to know these things!"

Why am I not surprised? Did anyone hear how much they're supposed to go up this time?
    44 cents

All my stamps were 5 bucks...in dollars I think that's about 50 cents
Ahem - 5 bucks each...so about 51c each then...the stamps were actually the most expensive part.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the rate goes up again on us.

Do you have postal rate changes like we do here in the US? Ours have went up in just a couple of years (or so it seems) from 41 to 44 cents each.

I'll take a guess and say I spent around $45 for postage (that's just an estimate) this past year. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the rate goes up again on us.

But it's all good. And next year's signup will be coming around before we know it.
I hadn't spent that much on postage but then I think it's because I used some forever stamps on some of mine.

And your right it is in a few years, last may was when it went up to .42 a stamp. And then two cents up higher this year to cover the costs that were losing from the loss of mail. Gotta admit tho, .44 cents to get a letter from the tip of Maine to the edge of Hawaii isn't bad. Wish I could fly that cheap.

    I believe I spent over $70 Canadian.
My Canadian stamps were the ones with no price on them, but when I bought them a few months before, they were just over 50 cents.
