A quick search on google images brings up these various beauties. I'm sure you could adapt them to be a little more individual...

Thanks ginger! I really like the second link, I can tweak it to work for me.

It's a very unique design. If you're going with something over the left shoulder, maybe a thorny branch with rose blooms?
I was thinking vine-like but Im not too into flowers or leaves...if that makes sense. And I like stars. LOL. Im confuzzled.

My wife has her next two planned. She has a cutesy dragon on her ankle right now. She wants a star on her wrist and a panda holding a bamboo heart on her shoulder blade.

Me, I have a few ideas after this phoenix is done.

    Ginger~

I want to see pics of the finished product. Im sure theyre gorgeous. The outline alone was very nice.

I need advice on what to get next. I'm probably going to a local parlor tomorrow to talk to one of the artists. and maybe ask what they think. Here is a pic of what I currently have..i want to get something on my left shoulder and maybe creeping out over to the front. I want it to somewhat go with whats already there. Any advice anyone?

Ow. Ow. My back is on fire.

But at least my wings are finished. £250 in total, 51/2 hours in total, three sessions and they're here. I feel like me. Properly me.

Getting my ears pierced on the 30th.

Just got the outline done on my phoenix. All I could afford. Pics up when I don't feel as though I've been run over.

Ok, so I have plans for my next two tattoos already- the kitty and crossfish I talked about earlier, and a zombie pinup on my thigh. Which should I get first.

i have found a couple of them that might be able to do it but one in in california and that's just too far to go and the other is in Seattle which is much closer and I just have to get over there and talk to the guy about it when I am allowed to drive again.

I can honestly saythat it wasn't the idea that I might not return. They took one look at the design, called someone else over and started making fun on it because it wasn't to their taste.

I know that there are refinements that will need to be done with it so make it work and am willing to do that. It's not going to be easy and I am figuring that it will run anywhere from $500 on up depending.
