Of course I think everyone forgets about oxyclean, it started on infomercials.
      I loves me my OxyClean.

      I want a snuggie.

Finally broke down and bought a set of the Aqua Globes. They work like a dream. My clover plant has never been happier!!

I fill them about once a week. They are very cool

Okay I have a quite of few of those "As Seen on TV" stuff...Mom thinks it's cool and gets it after it appears in stores.

The shamwow...yea no...I still use my Shamie I got as a swimmer over 15 years ago. Sure it started purple and is now white but it still does the job. Better size too I think

THREE different types of mandalin slicers and I can NOT get a single one to work properly. Someone want to explain how to get the thing to actually work properly?

Might Putty...jury is still out on this one.

Pasta thing where you pour hot water into the deal...waste of 15 bucks right there.

          PediEgg I loves it.

There are more but I'll get to them later ya?

I loves me my Magic Bullet blender. It sees a decent amount of use.

Best knife I've ever personally gotten was a "Forever Sharp" knife that was demonstrated in a Wal-Mart. My sister and I split the $20 cost and ended up with three of them (bread-style knives that work great on meats too), a fillet knife, three paring knives, and some of those orange juicer things you shove into the orange and then use to pour out the juice.

Best mandolins I've dealt with were the V-Slicer and the mandolin slicer that Pampered Chef sells (which Hubby and I have). When we first got married, we got some no-name slicer that had major design flaws. Parts of it would catch on the food and shred when they weren't supposed to, and there was a huge gap with the regular blade that made it impossible to cleanly slice with it (gap was removed when you put in the julienne attachment). That was a piece of crap.

That hot water pasta thing was majorly panned by a Reader's Digest article I read about "As Seen on TV" products (where the staff bought the products and tried them out). They said the best thing you could use it for was catching bugs, especially lightning bugs.

I bought Bare Minerals off the TV before it was available in stores. Worked great, but was way too expensive and I don't go through that much coverup in a few months.

I also bought Sheer Cover, which is pretty much the same thing as above. Worked fine, but again, way too expensive and I didn't need that much coverup. Eventually I had so many of those little containers I called it quits and just stuck to Maybelline mineral makeup.

ProActive....in my opinion it isn't worth shit, but lots of people have success stories, so I'll just say it didn't work for ME but it might work for YOU. My skin is so oily that NOTHING topical will ever save it (rubbing Phillips on my skin before bed and before wearing makeup helps keep the oil at bay for a few extra hours, though), and I'm allergic to sulfur so I can't even use the refining mask anyway.

In my house, we have a few ASOTV things that the previous lady left.. we moved into the home of a friend of the family, and she left quite a few things here because my mom said she could, we'd either find a use for it or toss it. So we have a few things we didn't personally purchase.

Ok so we have Oxyclean, and Orange Glo stuff.

We have TWO Lean mean fat-reducing grilling machines! One big original one, family-size, and one of the newer ones that fits about two burgers, with the bun warmer on the top. The big one sees a lot of use in the winter, but the little one is barely touched.

We have a few containers of Simple Green, but we got them LONG before the infomercials, back when it was sold door-to-door lol. That salesman cleaned our whole darn kitchen, so my mom bought the big giant bottle of general cleaner concentrate, it's lasted us FOREVER.

also, I dunno if this counts cuz it doesn't have an infomercial but it was bought off of the tv.. My step-grandma bought us a little Nesco roaster she saw on QVC and that thing is used about 3 or 4 times a week, easy. It's so easy to toss frozen chicken and a bottled marinade, or some bbq sauce, in that thing in the morning, set it to 250, and leave it all day. heat some veggies and a starch at dinnertime and you're done.

We also have a few other weird gadgets off of QVC like an electric mandolin slicer that works ok..

                  What are Aqua Globes?

                  Are 'Snuggies' those backward bathrobes?

Aqua Globes are long glass things with a bulb at the end which, when filled with water, and placed with the bulb up, is supposed to keep plants watered for up to 2 weeks.

And yes, Snuggies are those backward Bathrobes.

Oh, yeah, I have a can of Oxy Clean, too (got it at Target, though). Someone here suggested it for cleaning tough stuff in the bathtub.... I haven't gotten around to doing it yet, though.

Has anyone tried the topsy turvy plant hangers?
My work sells a lot of the ASOTV knock-offs. I have been entertaining the idea of getting some of them. My Aunt has a pedi-paws that she uses on her Carin Terrier and she loves the product.

My boyfriend has the Pedi Egg thing. And yes, it actually holds the filings from your feet because of course, who collects their dead skin? Maybe to sell as a hocus-pocus cure for cancer perhaps

Silly, you're supposed to empty it out. Preferably into the salt shaker or sugar bowl of somebody you don't like.

I'm kidding, I'm kidding. Those parmesan cheese shakers work better.

The changable reclining pillow, whatever it's really called. I originally bought it for my dad, to make him more comfortable, but he died before he could use it.

The Fasta Pasta. It works nicely, and I'm eating more pasta now; I didn't before because I'm a lazy bum.

It's so it doesn't make a mess...and I believe that one nights sleep leaves more skin in the sheets then one rubbing of a foot.

But then I empty mine after every use so I don't see a lot in there.
