  • Verizon phones

    Greetings all!

I'm in the process of choosing a new Verizon phone. I have a Razr right now, but i'm looking at a phone with a QWERTY keyboard, but not a Blackberry.

I need something with a good battery life and reception.

    Little help?

Mom has an enV2 and she loves it.

I have an Alias, and I love it.

    I'm bringing disdain back...with a vengeance.

Oh, and your tool box called...you got out again.

*almost wishes she'd gotten an Alias, but is happy enough with what she's got*

Oldest just got a Voyager back in December and she loves it.

If not a Blackberry, how about a Palm?

I don't want to spend the money on the data plan for Blackberrys, so that includes Palms.

The Alias was the other phone that I saw that looked good.

I just got rid of Verizon and swutched to AT&T, got the Pantech Slate (love it so far)

Not sure if Verizon has something similar...it looks like a BlackBerry, but w/o the frills....mainly its wondeful for texting (makes mental note to add more testing to her plan...I just got the phone Sunday and I'm alost at half my allotted txts)

One phone I will say to avoid...the Chocolate. It is a terrible phone, the mp3 on it is bad, drains the battery, and the buttons are extremely touch sensitive.

            Good luck in your hunt!

I've got an EnV2 and I love it. Decent battery life, I have no reception problems, and the keyboard is great.

              Have fun!
I will not shove “it” up my backside. I do not know what “it” is, but in my many years on this earth I have figured out that that particular port hole is best reserved for emergency exit only. -GK

Me too! I liked Verizon, but I wanted to get my own plan away from my family's. And I can talk to my bf for free.

My sister has one and it's the most God-awful device I've ever had the misfortune to use. I ordered an LG Vue, I'll see how it goes...

LG Voyager. My bro has one and it rocks the socks!! My daughter has a chocolate 2 and has not given her problems(though she wants the choc 3 so her friend can have the 2. kids, oy!). I have used the new Dare but I'm not sure about the entire thing being a touchscreen. The keys are a pain to use and you have to hit just so. But that could be my fingernails being in the way. Go with the Voyager. Touch screen and flips open for keyboard.
