Holy Hell....Pennsylvania...is not even a state, its a pothole.
    Oh, tell me about it!
Daughter was stationed in DC the past 2 years, we live in OH, which means we spent a lot of time on the PA turnpike. OMG, $13 TO DRIVE ON THE POT-HOLIEST ROAD EVER!!!!! And what's it with the $3 admision fee into PA??? What are they doing with all them fees? I've never seen any progress in all the construction.

As to the Harley riders who think louder is better. The street in front of our house is kinda scenic along the river with waterfalls and such. So a lot of them Harley riders are riding the scenic route and reving their engines all day up and down it any nice day we get.

So my boss owns a Harley and has learned pretty quick not to boast: "So I was riding by your house this weekend. Did you hear me? I was the one that rev'ed his engine!" All proud like.

My answer: " Yeah, you and 500 other assholes with Harleys and apperently small dicks."
    *sputter, grumble, sputter*

But he has never mentioned riding by my house or how loud his Harley is since.

It's not as bad as it once was. Still, it's always torn up somewhere. Seems that it's always going east, and always heading uphill

Unless heaven forbid I have just jinxed it all and Frosty's giant snowdick shall return with vengeance and this rant won't be necessary again for another month....

          Saturday Night, Mar 28
          Low: 23 °F RealFeel®: 6 °F
Breezy and cold with snow, accumulating 1-3 inches

          Ok Blas.

          Stop.

          We get it.

Frosty's got it for you. He sees all, knows all, and if his favorite lil' cheeser wants it, by dang, she'll get it.

          But seriously. Stop.

Yeah, I know it's not "with a vengeance" but it was too good to pass up. JUST before the end of the month too.

Could you please arrange to have some of that snow sent here? We're looking at water rationing, which will only get worse. Also, with the complete lack of driving skills shown whenever it rains, we could probably cut way down on the average driver stupidity level if they had to drive in snow. Gotta thin the herd somehow.

It is now 7:12 am. On a Sunday. Some random esteemed neighbor of mine decided that my entire neighborhood needed to hear the AWESOME POWER that was his/her motorcycle.

I get that all engines make noise, but why the revving? Is it that you like the sound of your bike soooo much that you figure all the people within earshot will love it too? Not if you wake them up! I was up, but GRAH, WHY? I could hear you for several minutes!

ETA: I might mention, also, that I live across the street from a college campus. There's likely people attempting to study, too. Grr.

I'm guilty of revving the MG's engine a bit. I have no idea why, but the throttle linkage sticks. When I first fire it up, I have to blip the throttle. Not red-line it, but just enough to "clear its throat." The car is noisy until it's warmed up a bit. Then I can push the choke back in, and it settles down

However, I *never* start that car up at 7am. Too noisy, and I'd get my ass kicked

See, that kind of thing I get. Some engines need to start up, and are noisy when they do. (I know I don't wake up all ready to go. ) Older cars/motorcycles can often be louder than newer ones.

Some people just take it way too far.

Sure, you guys can have some snow. Frosty is going to try to poop out just a little more snow before April Fool's Day. I wouldn't be surprised if he got himself constipated for a few weeks and then in the middle of April he'll try to dump again.

A trace to 3 inches of snow for whoever wants it! Going once.......come on, I'll PAY you to take it! Going twice....................going twice..........dammit.....!!

...and now the Blas jinx is spreading. We had snow here this morning in PA. Not much, just enough to turn windshields white. Very little of it stuck around...thank God. You all can *have* it
