My husband got cofused. He thought Bea Arthur played Sophia (who was played by Estelle Getty) or she played Rose (who was really played by Betty White). He definitely knew she didn't play Blanche, the Southern Belle (played by Rue McClanahan).

I do like Bea Arthur. I guess my family just thinks I look old now. *sigh* They never ever compliment me on anything. So I'm taking the Bea Arthur comment as a compliment.
