Why, you ask?

Because not only have I got a box set of all the Dad's Army surviving episodes (79 in total) I also got it at less than half price because it was on sale.


Dad's Army is a popular 70's (regularly got 18 million viewers in the UK when it was first broadcast) British sitcom about the british Home Guard in WW2.

That's 39.5 hours of viewing pleasure for me

I am very jealous.


One fo the funniest shows ever. If you ever get the chance to hear "It sticks out half a mile" then do. it is the radio follow up to the show and is rather good.

I've also got the film, which i didn't like much to be honest as it was essentially a recap of the first series pretty much.
