  • "...officially one of the weirdest shows we've ever done!"

So my wife and I saw Jeff Dunham in Topeka. Funny as HELL! But it also had one of the most surreal moments I've ever seen in a live performance (apparently for Jeff, too). He ended with Peanut and left the stage. He then came back on with Bubba J. He started doing his routine, but noticed the audience was ALSO saying the jokes. At a couple points, Bubba just trailed off and the audience finished the joke. Finally, after 5 minutes of this, he looked at all of us and said "Okay, this is officially one of the weirdest shows we've ever done!"

    ...and we all cheered.

Pictures when I can get them posted, videos when I can do so and not worried about getting sued :/

Don't get me wrong, but it sounds to me like he needs new material.

He had a bunch of new material, but I'm guessing he doesn't use Bubba J very often. I also live in Redneck Central :P

He did the same thing when I saw him last August. It was kind of funny because Bubbba "said" to Jeff, "It's really bad when the audience knows the damn jokes better than you do."
