    German family?

Only people I know who like paprika on cottage cheese [or horseradish and cottage cheese] are german =)

Though really it is supposed to be quark, but I am lazy and havent made quark in a year, I just buy cottage cheese =)
My mom's father was full-blooded German. XD How'd you guess?

I've never heard of/had quark - what is it? Now I'm curious!

ETA: My daughter has dipped Cheetos in Ketchup (she loves her ketchup).

And I thought I was the only one who liked Peanut Butter & Mayo sandwiches. Truth be told, I do like them with lettuce, but I rarely buy heads of lettuce (and the kind in the salad bags have too many other additives - shredded carrots, etc. - so I don't put lettuce on the sandwiches very often.

Quark is homemade cheese - recipe

try adding some horseradish and paprika to cottage cheese, serve on rye bread.

I like my fritos still in the bag and then dump in ketchup, mustard, and mayo. Or put in meat, nacho cheese, jalapenos, and sour cream aka Walking Taco.

Put me in the cold pizza and pasta crowd. I love cold anything for that matter. I rarely reheat anything.

          Now I want cold fries....

I love mac & cheese with ketchup mixed in.

            Cold pizza = YUM!!

As for cold pasta, I would weird my siblings out by opening a can of chef boyardee, or something similar, dump contents in a bowl and wander off to chow down. No need for nuking! I especially liked spaghetti-o's and meatballs that way!

A classy breakfast was crumb coffee cake with liverwurst smeared on it instead of butter.
Don't you mean chopped liver? I ask, because chopped liver is a spread, while liverwurst is a coldcut. Unless I am missing something?

Jester - My husband is like your friend Harley. He thinks I'm weird for eating cold pizza (I've even introduced Child Rum to the joy of cold pizza). Thing is though, he went to college. 3 different ones. And he still doesn't like cold pizza!
He is definitely in the minority!

I don't know about where you live, but where I live, you can get bags of salad with all the stuff, or just lettuce, or just spinach....they have a large variety. I usually go for the just romaine or just spinach ones myself.
