    ...almost!

I have Survey today, which is basically 6 of my 8 finals rolled into one. Since I'm in art school, my department assigns every student a wall space in one of the buildings and then we hang up all of our work from the semester in a nice presentation. The building closes down for two hours and all of the teachers from the department walk around and critique everyone's work, and grade their students. You get your grades, plus sometimes notes stuck on your wall from other teachers, or feedback from teachers who run into you after the building is reopened.

They run the show for two more hours after it's reopened and everyone can come in and look at the work. My mother's coming from a few hours away for it - she hasn't seen any of my artwork in two or three years now and doesn't really know what I'm doing in school, so that will be interesting.

Anyway, I already hung up all of my work - now I'm just excited to get feedback later!

And sleep. Sleep also sounds good. I haven't gotten more than 18 hours of sleep from the last *week* and I'm running on fumes now. Fumes and caffeine.

Ooh good luck and have fun! I remember doing my portfolio presentations and gallery showings my senior year and it was awesome!

We also did protfolio presentations in each class as a final exam, but we only showed off to our classmates, not the whole school like we did our senior year. As a Graphic Design major you got to do the group portfolio presentation. As a Fine Art major you got a gallery show all to yourself. Me, being crazy, decided to go ahead and do both even though I was only required to do the portfolio presentation (I was a Graphics major). I loved it!

    and enjoy!
I will not shove “it” up my backside. I do not know what “it” is, but in my many years on this earth I have figured out that that particular port hole is best reserved for emergency exit only. -GK
