Oh, and Jester - glad Cathy's okay. And the heart attack took how many years off your life?
    12. But I got most of them back when I threw my deadbeat roommate out two days later.

I can just imagine what you tell your friend Jester...

      "Yeah.. I rode Amanda"

      "You did what!?"

      "I rode my bike"

      "Was it any good?"

Sandman, you are not that far off. I have friends back in Zona that make jokes about Amanda being my "girlfriend." The potential (and actual) jokes are quite amusing, potentially endless, and scarily accurate. Hell, she has been the most faithful and dependable "girlfriend" I've ever had!

If I had thought to get the cop's name, I probably would have. Since I didn't, probably not. KWPD is somewhat corrupt, and I would want the compliment to go to the female police officer herself, not being claimed by some incompetent corrupt good ole boy sergeant.
The people from the water department might know - I'm thinking there would be some sort of report from something like that!

I'm glad your truck is ok and you were able to keep her ok.

I call my car the Bastardmobile, but it's more to do with the driver than the (rather reliable) vehicle itself.

Raps, same reason I call my truck the Jestermobile. It is not, after all, hilariously funny, silly acting, or colorfully attired. It is actually rather conservative looking, in the gorgeous monochromatic Chevy blue that they are using these days.

And I left the bells off, too.
