He'd been munching on the mushrooms in the shopping load.
My girl likes peas. We put them on the edge of the table and she reaches up and knocks them off, then plays "pea soccer" for a bit and then she eats them. Unless she loses them under the wicker box my mom has next to the computer desk. Moved it one day and there were several petrified peas under there.

At first, we though he ate it 'cause it came off of tacos, but one day, we put down some lettuce with some taco meat, and he ignored the meat to munch the lettuce!

I second the picture request. I never got to see my furball as a kitten, so I console myself by looking at other people's kittens.
On oddball foods, my cat loves Altoids. If I give her a half of one, she works on it most of the evening until it stops smelling minty.

My appartment complex is a haven for first time mommy stray cats and they all usually end up in my outside storage unit. I love Mommy duty. I already know there will be another soon as two strays were 'doing it' right outside my door a week ago.
Last year was hard though. The stray at first was pretty feral, couldnt get near her but I worked my way in and by the time she had her baby I was able to hold her and the kitten with no trouble. The new mommy had her first litter but it was only one kitten. Soon she got pregant again but by then I found out mommy had FIV and feline leukemia and I had to have her put to sleep.
Since living in this apartment Ive adopted out 6 kittens and two mommys.. I want to keep them all but Im only allowed to have 2 pets but at least the apartment manager has given me a break on taking care of the strays since I adopt them out. At first she gave me two warnings for feeding the strays until I convinced her that I was finding them homes. Which compared to her policy, which is doing nothing, was a better solution.
Here is a pic of Emma, adopted last summer
As for eating, my one cat will eat anything, and its not just an expression. He eats broccoli, onions, peppers, all fruits, anything he can find. He will try to steal food as I am eating it. I cant leave any food out. He snagged the crust from my peanutbutter and jelly sandwich yesterday and ran under the bed with it.

My apartment complex has 4 strays that roam around. There's a doctor's office next door and they feed them; as a result they spend a lot of time lounging in the grass next to the fence between the parking lots. They don't let people get close, but at least I get to see them often as I walk to my car. Pretty kitties - one black & white, one all black, one gray, and one long-haired gray. I keep meaning to get some kitty treats and see if I can bribe them to make friends with me.

Hey, GK, it's a little old, but here's a vid of Widget when he was about 6 weeks old.

Aw, he's a cute one*! And interesting coloration. It looks like siamese with socks. Thanks for sharing.
Emma's a beautiful cat Miyon. I can see why you would hang onto her.
Now I'll have to come up with a good picture of mine.
*Aren't they all though?

Interesting. I'd not heard of the breed. Mine looks a lot like a Bombay, but came from a shelter that was going under, so there's no way to be sure. I'd guess she's a mix since she was abandoned, and still shows abandonment issues when I've been gone out of town for more than an evening. Very clingy little lap fungus.
