Congratulations on surviving High School
I graduated the same year as Jester (my graduation was on May 31, 1988
) and I can recall being happy, scared, excited, tense not only because I was finally graduating but the mere thought of moving toward the next phase of life (which was supposed to have been college) was totally scary.
The evening I graduated was nerve-wracking . . . but fun at the same time. The way we were lined up so that we could be seated accordingly meant that me and another student (who was to sit on the far end at the other side) were to march at the head of the double line. The rehearsal that morning was funny . . . . didn't matter how slow I tried to walk, it seemed as if it were too fast to suit the teachers.
But I got through it with flying colors. I did, however, go back for a few days afterwards to get the annual school newsmagazine completed before the underclassmen finished for the summer. Finished that the day before the underclassmen finished their final exams and I was GONE.
And no, I haven't been back there since.
But enjoy it and the summer too . . . not sure what you're planning to do but either way, live it up as much as you can while you're able to. You're only young once, so make the most of it and don't do anything I wouldn't do.
Or if you do, just don't get caught.
