Oh and thank you thank you thank you Jester! He found me an awesome B&B that I'm totally going to give a call some time this week to find out about how much they'll charge me and what kind of deposit they want. Check it out Here

ETA: He's part of the reason we chose Key West, as it will give us a chance to meet him, check out his bar, and have an excellent tour guide
And of course, there's no pressure on me from all this. (Though you realize that if they have a horrible time in Key West or hate the island, I am SO toast!)

Cool. I always wonder if I ran across him while I was down there in 2001. I know he was there then, but I wasn't here to know to look for him. I might have seen him doing magic at sunset, for all I know. I also may have been at a certain clothing optional rooftop bar that may or may not be one that he has mentioned in the past. (For the record, I opted for clothes, and we were actually only there for about 10 minutes just to check it out.)
I was definitely here in 2001.
I was doing magic, but not at the Sunset Celebration.
And depending on when in 2001 you were here, I may have been the DJ at said rooftop clothing optional bar. (I worked there from November 2001 through December 2002.) But I definitely hung out there.....in every sense of the word.

I'm so excited. I really am. I am just keeping that image in my head (a week on the beaches of Key West with my new hubby in January!)....
I keep telling her that while Key West is a great place, the beaches are not all that awesome. They really aren't.

Red, if you really want some great beaches, head to Fort Myers Beach or Hollywood or Fort Lauderdale instead. The magic of Key West is Key West and its lunacy and fun, NOT the beaches.

First off, whether or not you make a good tour guide, we're going to have a blast. After all, it IS our honeymoon... We could spend the entire week in our room and have a great time

Second, you did show me some pictures of some pretty beaches there, plus no matter WHERE we stay, there will be a pool (heated too!), and if we stay at DI, there's that lovely happy hour we talked about I'm so looking forward to this

All I was saying is that if Key West doesn't live up to your expectations, I am going to feel very very silly.

I believe happy hour means,in this case anyways, free drinks at the hotel bar from 5-6 pm, I believe, which is never a bad thing.

Yes, I know what happy hour means And I agree, that's never a bad thing, especially when it's by the pool and the room's right there for some... evening delights

                        Congratulations on your upcoming wedding.

Don't become a bridezilla. Here's a handy reading list to avoid being ripped off.
Best wishes and sorry I can't make it that day as it is in the peak of tax season.
I'm trying to see things from your point of view, but I can't get my head that far up my keister!

That's so beautiful! Pretty pretty dress!!

I will certainly try to make it. Let's see how the school schedule goes!
