Terminator 4 (spoiler free!)

Ok so for those of you that still are unsure of seeing this movie. Get out of the chair and head to the theaters right NOW! It was good, no great, no FREAKING AWESOME! Better than T2 (way better) and possibly even (IMHO) better than Star Trek! Yes it was THAT good.

It's hard to talk about it without spoiling it, but basically the plot was near flawless, the acting was great (For the vast majority anyway). There wasn't even cursing save for maybe once or twice. And the worse things I heard were "hell" and SOB. That's it. So yes see this movie! Go now!

I do have one minor grievance, but it was very minor and didn't really get in the way of enjoying the movie at all.

I haven't seen it myself, but Rotten Tomatoes lists it at 34%, and a reviewer for the San Francisco Chronicle said, "Whoever thought in 2003 that we'd look back on Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines as the good old days?"

Reading through some of the reviews at RT, a lot of the positive ones are either talking only about great action scenes, or damning it with faint praise. One says, "I cannot completely condemn a movie that has been very competently written, directed and acted..."

I'm glad you had a good time, and I'm not telling anyone to steer clear, but what I've read makes me think that I'll be waiting till this one hits DVD.

Hm, well me and my friend (who didn't like Star Trek btw) loved it. Maybe it won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I do think it was better than T3. But that's just my opinion.
