My cat was suffering from renal failure and had to be put down today. I'm so sad; and so is my mum. We plan to get another kitten after we get back from holiday; not to replace Cleo, but cuz we both love cats so much. The kitten will live at Mum and Dad's house, cuz they have a better environment for cats than I do. I'm missing Cleo already; she was such a lovely cat with a great personality. There will never be another cat like her.

Having lost two beloved cats earlier this year, I can greatly sympathise. They give us so much, ask for so little and enrich our lives.

I'm sorry for the loss of your furry friend. Cleo sounds like she was a wonderful cat.

Thanks everyone. Mum and I are still upset, but we still want a kitten; we have enough love for another cat and it would be a shame to waste it. Mum's getting a couple of reprints of a photo of Cleo, so I can have a picture of her to remember her by.
