  • Earbuds that don't fall out. Do these exist?

So I've splurged my graduation gift money and gotten myself my first MP3 player. Because I'm determined to start my daily walk routine again, and I want to take David Bowie with me

But the damned earbuds keep falling out on me, and I've already lost the foamy thing off one of them; they even fall out if I'm just lying in bed listening. Is there a certain design of the clip on variety that stays in well and won't bust my wallet? I hate the whole concept of sticking a speaker in my ear to begin with, so it's a little irksome that they won't even stay in.

On that note, does anyone else cringe when you see someone pull their earbud out and hand it to a friend, who then sticks it in their ear to hear a song? *shudder*

That might help, there are probably other varieties too. They go over your ear so there's a bit more stability to them, and probably causes less damage than constantly stuffing ear phones in very far.

I found a pair at Walmart. I believe they are called Gummies. I had the same problem, but these stay in very well. They also come in many bright, fun colors! $10!!

I myself use these. However, I've found that really, any MP3 player is only good during walking, not jogging. I can't stand the cord bouncing around, front or back. These earbuds are great for your intent-walking. Any faster than that, I'm looking for a set of earbuds that have the MP3 built in (wireless basically) without spending a week's wages.

The doodad at the top takes some getting used to, but they don't fall out.

I'm inclined to agree, but I'm afraid of looking like a total dork walking around with my headphones on I have a set of Koss noise-canceling ones that I use on the computer and they're just heavenly.

Indeed I did, lol. On the 5th, actually. Done with the patient care assistant portion, now I'm working on the technician bit with EKG and phlebotomy classes over the summer.

The problem with wearing headphones/headsets when you're doing physical activity is sweat. They can get really hot and really gross... It's not an ideal situation.
