You ever have one of those days that's just nice?
This morning, I packed up my netbook and headed to Panera for breakfast. Had a lovely souffle and latte, and spent a few hours surfing the net and writing.
I looked up at one point, and lo and behold, there was a friend I hadn't seen since college! Good to talk to her again.
Went home, and couldn't get the wireless to work there, so I took a long hot bath and washed my hair. Then i finished up a book I'd been dying to read (Anne Rice's "Called Out Of Darkness," enjoyed it a lot).
Took the netbook downstairs to write, and watched Lady in the Water (one of my favorite movies of all time, I don't care how many people hated it, I LOVE it). Then had a nice dinner, and a friend came over to watch Fruits Basket, one of my favorite animes.
After she left, I went back, realized that I'd typed the network password in wrong, and got online instantly.
It's been a GOOD day.

ETA: and someone on Twitter just told me that my avatar pic was gorgeous--I almost never get compliments about my appearance. Is hell freezing over?? I don't care, it's a good day!
