*Yesterday I was woken up at 9am (after getting VERY little sleep) because Mom moved in with one of my sisters and was finishing up packing.
*Mi familia showed up just after noon and got Mom moved out. I think there were at least 7 people involved in this, not counting Mom. Yeah.
*They got done just around 1 in the afternoon...which is when I was supposed to wake up for work...and Mom knew this. Why on earth she didn't have everyone show up at 1, I still don't know.
(When I have to work til midnight, I try to sleep later so I'm not falling asleep at work. That theory usually works for me.)
On to today.
*Got very little sleep. This is a recurring issue in my life, let me tell you.
*Accidentally knocked over a jar of grease onto the stove. Don't ask.
*Broke one of my vacuums. The good one. This is another recurring feat.
*Locked myself out of my apartment...while barefoot and without my cell phone. Over 3 hours before Becks was supposed to start work.
I tried knocking on all my neighbor's doors to use their phones...and no one answered.
This is where being barefoot is important. I was debating whether to run over to work (literally in my front parking lot) to beg to use the phone to call Becks...and being a grocery store, this is NOT a good idea.
Luckily a coworker (sort of, she works in deli and I'm a cashier
) happened to be on break, and let me use her phone. She thought it was hilarious, because I called Becks (who lives 5 minutes away), my Mom (who now lives 30 minutes away, at best), and my brother (who has the only master key, and whose number I only remembered because an hour before I had been at work updating my contact info with him as the first call) and leaving increasingly desperate messages to them.
Becks showed up and I managed to get back in, and had to call Mom and my bro to let them know that I got back in.
*Broke a light bulb, in the bathroom, next to my cat's feeding area. My cat was less then thrilled to be picked up and tossed in my room, so I can sweep and attempt to vac so she doesn't cut herself.
*Then my Mom called about my niece. Said niece has a doctor's appointment in Milwaukee tomorrow. She asked Mom for directions yesterday. Asked Mom *today* if Mom would drive her down there. Mom said her car is in need of repair, and cannot make a trip of any kind. Niece asked if Becks or I could take her. Nope, both working. Can Becks' fiance? We left it up to him. He said he'd do it.
Why is this a problem? Niece knew about this appointment for a MONTH and waited until the last minute to try to get a ride. Her mother is FURIOUS because she told Niece at the time the appointment was made to ask Mom if she'd drive her down there.
I'm pretty sure this is all. I sure hope so.
I'm surprised I didn't burn the place down making supper.

or
But I didn't feel *too* bad about it because something told me that that happens quite often, and I was right. My bro told me that they had to replace 2 of them when the neighbor across the hall moved in.
