I know I haven't posted in a while, but this is more important than sharing stories at the moment. I need help and I am looking everywhere to find some.

This link is to a missing person profile I typed up for a close friend of mine. It's nothing fancy. Please read it and please pass it along to any facebooks, livejournals, myspaces, forums, or twitters you may have. Please help spread the word.

From what you described in your account of his disappearance, it sounds like the dude disappeared intentionally. Meaning he doesn't want to be found. Short of foul play (which you say you doubt), that would be the logical conclusion. Meaning maybe you should let the dude be.

Why didn't he just apply for a general discharge? He'd be treated like crap until it went through, and he could go home, but now he's done something illegal.

If you care about him, leave him alone. If he's ever found, he's going to be in a world of trouble.

I hope that wherever he is, that he is save and well. Im very sorry that this had to happen.

This thread has been reported for two reasons. The first one is that it has a link and should really be in 'check it out' - thanks for reporting it, and you know who you are . However, we had a bit of a chat and decided that as it's fairly important instead of a 'tee hee - look at this!' type link, we'd leave it here for a little while before moving as it would get more traffic.
