  • A Pleasant Experience.

I don't expect any responses to this post. I just thought it was a neat thing to share.

Last evening Hubby and I went out for Dinner. The sky was a bit ominous. Indeed, right after we were seated at the restaurant, the heavens opened. The old Benny Hill weather report about bringing an umbrella if you live in Lissingdown came to mind.

By the time we finished our meal the sky was clear and we walked home through cool, clear air and newly washed streets. There seemed to be a festive mood in the streets. A stranger advised us to look up. Above us was a gigantic, very firm and bright double rainbow.

Something like that is fairly rare in NYC. People dining at sidewalk cafes were snapping pictures left and right. Young children in strollers had eyes the size of saucers. Everyone was smiling. The double rainbow even made the 11 P.M. Newscasts.

We thought it was especially opportune. Today is the Gay Pride Parade in Manhattan.
Research is the art of reading what everyone has read and seeing what no one else has seen.

It's raining here in Our Fair City and we've got our Pride parade happening right now. That would be so amazing to have a rainbow coming up just at the end.

Although, there are so many floats, it may take a few hours so there's hope yet for that arc.

    Everyone loves a rainbow
No... Just No! And I mean it this time!
