What did she do to end up leaving our home? She tried to scratch my Mom and me when all we were doing was trying to pet her.
And, after Mom's arm getting scratched up pretty rough (and her skin is becoming rather thin and papery) and ending up with a claw stuck in my shoulder blade a bit too deep, that was enough.
So the very next day when I came home from work, the animal shelter was called and an animal control officer came out to pick her up.
She had turned out to be a beautiful cat . . . shiny coat, solid as a rock body, but her socialization skills weren't turning out so good. And she was just getting worse on the clawing, so we're hoping she's found another home that can better appreciate her endless energy.
She was just too much energy for us to handle.
