...Every year there are two words which strike fear into my dark dark heart... "Hoop Fest" *shudders* This year was no exception. All of down town was sectioned off... it even stretched as far as the suburbs this year! Making the whole area into a giant mass of Basket ball hoops and sweaty humans.... ugh. Now granted this is a great event for our city... brings in lots of money... but its one of the more annoying events...since you can't travel ANYWHERE for the weekend and all the parking down town goes up to $15-$20 to park. ((though I did manage to make my way down to the park and get some Berry Kabobs... mmmm...))
But it's over now... and I can heave a sigh of relief knowing that at least until September (mmmm pig out in the park....) I will not have to deal with the MASSIVE hoards of humanity.
