4 straight days of gaming, 2 10 hour car trips, a some photos and a lot of bought stuff and my weekend is over.
A couple highlights:
My wife and I got a signed picture from Peter Mayhew. It was awesome to meet Chewie
I picked up a new pen and paper game: Hellas. Think Greek Heroes in space. I also met the creators and had them sign my book. Since I played so much, they allowed my character to upgrade
One of the players yelled, right as she was about to attack, "I'm going to shoot him in the FACEHOLE!" Game stopped as everyone started laughing.
I played Shadowrun for the first time and made 2 huge mistakes: 1) I played a pure physical character, 2) I played with a high level tech mage. I stared at my dice the entire game.
I played "Are you a Werewolf" 5 times and was the werewolf 4. I got killed a lot. I'm not sneaky.
My wife and I each had an artist draw us as fantasy characters. She looks badass killing a vampire. I look dashing in studded leather.
I also learned something about myself: I'm a grump on return trips. I think we'll fly next year.
