  • And now, Karl Malden's dead

He was 97 years old; hard to believe.

I'm really tired of hearing death news.

Well, at least he had an excuse. Made it nearly twice as long as the others.

At the rate it's been going lately, whenever someone bites it in the news now I've begun making Kira cracks to my friends.

It's starts to make sense if you think of it that way. ;p

            That is, isn't it?

            1. Ed McMahan
            2. Farrah Fawcett
            3. Michael Jackson

            1. Billy Mays
            2. Mollie Sugden
            3. Karl Malden

Of course, it depends on your perspective. No freaking idea who Billy Mays is (I may even that name wrong), I've just seen it listed here. And this guy? Karl who?

            But hey - 3's.

My reaction to this news was not, "Oh my....Karl Malden died?"

No, my reaction was more along the lines of, "Holy shit! Karl Malden was still alive?!?"

There must have been quite the longevity gene in his family. Ages ago, I saw an interview with him in which he mentioned that his mother was still going strong, at the age of 99.

                He was a great actor.

Sheesh, all these famous people are dropping dead like flies! At least he and Ed McMahon were the only two that didn't die at a young age unlike the rest that have passed on recently.
