I'm pulling my old copies of the books to sell on Half.com. If anyone wants to buy some of them directly, let me know. It's taking a while to get this done, and I don't have all the books anymore. When I find what I have, I'll post them here.

Also, the boxed set of the first seven books is about 40%+ off on half.com.

Half the fun of this series is not knowing what is coming next, and I would be pissed if someone spoiled one of the surprises for me. Yeah, I am wondering what the hell is going on with Mary Ann, but I want the show to tell me, not someone here. Please, please, respect that folks. In other words (bad vampire pun coming), don't suck!
After much consideration, I have to agree with you...as curious as this little cat is - I do not want it to be spoiled. This show has me going, "What the fuck!?!?! What is going on now!?" Nearly all the time and I LOVE that! So, it'd be silly of me to get all impatient and ask for spoilers.

I have joined the true-blood.net forum too. They're as friendly as CS.com - I like boards where the rules are followed. It's all talk about the show and not much is tolerated.

Season 1 followed the first book fairly closely. The biggest differences being a couple of the characters were changed from the books. BTW - did anyone notice in the first series the book that Sookie's grandmother was reading in the first few episodes? It was Dead until Dark

From what I have seen so far of Season 2, it appears to be loosely following the 2nd book. Again, there are some big differences, but the books would not always transfer to TV if they were kept the way they were originally written. The books are done in first person, so to have developing stories about the other characters, you have to change things to keep them interesting

I love this series and if they keep following the books each season, I cant wait!!! Dead to the world (the 4th book) is my favourite and would love to see how they portray that story.

I have read all the books multiple times and eagerly await the next one. if anyone wants any spoilers or tidbits, PM me.

Well...I went ahead and ordered the first book of the series. It only cost $6.24 with shipping from half.com. I eagerly await its arrival. I will follow up with the others in the series too. I just worry that with school starting soon, it will cut into my recreational reading, however, from what others say, they are a fast read - one that you can't put down.

I went ahead and spoiled one thing for myself! I was trying to avoid it, but the need became to great. I know what Mary Ann is now - however, in my opinion, it does not quite fit her entire description...so, I am still very intrigued to see how her story line unfolds.
