  • Not that anybody other than Becks, Bella and myself care, but...

Prince Fielder won the Home Run Derby.

And now's the celebrity softball game. The pitcher just walked Shawn Johnson, who's about 2-foot-4, so no strike zone to speak of. Meh.

    That is all.

I care! I can't wait until tomorrow. I'm a huge Yadier Molina fan and I'm so happy he made it to All Stars. Makes me wish I still lived in STL. I wanna go back home.

The game is now over and Prince and Trevor had pretty good showings.

And the American League won. Again. It must be in the Constitution or something. I almost have to question why I watched when I knew what the result would be.

Well, the American League does have Derek! And there was no reason to throw at him like that!

It took me a couple of minutes to figure out why the crowd was booing Obama, then I noticed his jacket. Smart. White Sox jacket in the middle of Cardinal territory. Well, at least it wasn't a Cubs jacket.

Obama is a White Sox fan. I've heard him say so several times.

I'm just enjoying the fact that Prince Fielder did well in the Home Run Derby and the All-Star Game while Albert Poo-Hole did neither (0-for-3, or was it 4, with an error) with the commentators schlobbing his knob the entire time.

I was ecstatic yesterday and today.

I cannot believe Obama wore a Sox jacket. Seriously. Even Bush wore a Brewers jacket when he threw out the first pitch at Miller Park. I mean, I understand he had to cover the bulletproof vest and all, but come on.

So Albert Pojols had a bad day. I may be in BeerFart country but leave my Cardinals alone. and we are in the lead of the NL Central

I missed the game - too much going on.

And - I've worn a Red Sox jacket to Yankee atadium (and lived, obviously). Granted, I wasn't throwing out the first pitch but you gotta stay loyal to your teams!

I know that. BUT in the bloody middle of Cardinal territory? In Busch stadium? Kind of insulting really.

Of course, I've got a huge bias. My mom moved out here when she was 16 from a small town in Illionois near St. Louis. You should hear my grandmother when she gets going on Chicago. She hates that place.

And Draggar? A Red Sox jacket? Really? Well, I won't hold that against you!

IMO, not terribly. The White Sox aren't a rival of the Cardinals. They play only once every few years.

Now had it been a Cubs jacket, let's just say Obama would be very grateful for his Secret Service security detail. Cards and Cubs is a big rivalry.

                        I've never been that brave.

Though I have worn a Sawx cap to a Mets game. Other Half wanted to kill me, but no one else seemed to notice.

I've worn Brewers stuff to Shea Stadium. No one noticed or cared.
