Great story... so I went to get my hair cut today...cause...well... it's bloody hot and my hair is heavy. I tell the girl what I want, a layered bob real short in the back. She was sweet and nice and when she was done my hair looked really good. So I left and went home. Now my fault with hair cuts is that I hate blow drying my hair... so it was still wet when I left... I get home... it has dried... I look in the mirror... and it looks like... crap.
Now most people would have just driven back and said... Well.. sorry but I am just not happy with it...but I am not most people... and had I done that I wouldn't be telling this story...
I spent 2 hours in the bathroom... cutting my hair.
And I will say... It looks BITCHIN! I was so damned proud of myself. I went shopping today and had lots of people complimenting me on my hair.
I am going over to Moms tomorrow, just to have her look over it and touch up the back, cause it looks good but I don't have a 3 way mirror and I am afraid to play with it too much more with out being able to see... Don't need a repeat of age 5 when I cut my bangs down to 1/2 an inch.... that was ....cute....
Just thought I'd share... It was alot of fun, made me feel really good to just chop my own hair off for once instead of some stranger....
I took a good inch extra off in the end... didn't really mean to, but it turned out cute. so YEY!
