A couple of days after my husband got out of the hospital we went to the local WAWA (sort of like a 7-11 but better) and an employee handed my husband a get well card. It was signed by most of the staff.
I almost cried and I hugged the guy who bought the card. It was so sweet and so caring. Mr. Mis and I were both completely moved by it.
Although Mr. Mis told me I shouldn't have said anything when we left to go home. I told him that when he was in the hospital I went in to the WAWA and the employee who bought the card asked me why I was quiet and looked so sad and how he hadn't seen Trouble (something he calls my husband if I come in alone and he calls me if my husband goes in alone) So I told him what was going on and left. I didn't expect anything to come of it.
Can you all believe that there are still people who do random acts of kindness?
