Apparently there was an episode of the TV show, millenium that featured malinois.

They were something along the lines of the univers' guardians or the protectors of time?

Anyone know which episode it was?

I think it's from season two - episode two called "Beware of the Dog". The gist was, I think, that the dogs were (possibly supernatural) guardians of a specific maybe sacred place - a yuppie dude built his wilderness getaway too near and upset the balance of the place and the dogs started killing people. I think.
