My mom had hip replacement surgery on Monday. She's only 55, and in good health, so it looks like it'll be a fast recovery. I just talked to her this morning, and she's been able to walk a little (assisted) and is really looking forward to going home. My sister, who still lives in Texas, is taking a week to stay with her and take care of everything.
Please keep mom in your thoughts and prayers! My dad got a new job, so he's living in another town about 2 hours away, and she really wants to join him, but can't until she's healed up, the house sells, and she finds a new job.
