    New Family Member

    She's 10 weeks old, brown and white fur and meows alot! Her name is Gizmo and she's a total sweetheart, she likes to sleep on my shoulder and on the bed, has an endless amount of energy.

    The kids love her, they won't leave her alone and I think it annoys her a bit cause she comes running to me for cover

    I have some photos I just have to upload them so i'll put them up as soon as I can, she's playing with a hairband that my daughter left on the floor and it's freaking halarious.

    I have scratch marks up my arms from an attempted meeting between Gizmo and our dog which didn't go over very well

      Congratulations on your new addition . . . she sounds just as cool as my little Gizmo (who also has more energy than she knows what to do with.)

      Can't wait to see the pics . . . I bet they're a riot.

                        Since there are no pictures to look at yet...

                        The "chittering" at about 16 seconds is so similar to my cats when looking at the deer, squirrels, chippies, rabbits, birds, etc that I love it. Such a hard noise to describe and that was pretty close. I love those vids.

                          Simon's Cat is awesome

                          When he was younger and able to get up on the bed with ease McGriff used to do everything in the "Cat Man Do" vid (short of breaking out the bat) to get us up to feed him.

                          "TV Dinner" is also very familiar in this house (he once sat on my mom's cell phone, that was amusing when a call came in).

                            Kinda like the baby name lists, isn't it?

                            With mine, I seem to name them the minute I lay eyes on them for the first time. I saw her in the bushes, tiny, scared and meowing her little head off and scampering a few feet away anytime I'd try to move some of the branches to try to get close enough to scoop her up and just told her "You look like a Gizmo."

                            Although there are times now where I think she should have been named Zoey II . . .
