  • What does this kind of handshake mean?

We had a man and a woman from our counterpart office in Texas visit today. I talked with her at lunch a little bit about some things I had recently tasked (intelligence work). Shortly before the end of the day, she stops at my desk and I tell her it was nice to have met her. We shake hands, but she does the two-handed type where one hand is the "normal" handshake but the other hand is covering the back of my hand palm down. I've always viewed that type as saying "thank you so very much for all you have done from the bottom of my heart," but like I said earlier we only talked for a few minutes, and this handshake seemed a bit much. She is from Texas - is that a more common shake down there? I just found it a bit odd

Sounds like an extra-friendly type. We don't do that here in Joisey.

I'll admit that I found her very attractive, tried not to look but one of the few times I did, our eyes met and she smiled I'm probably just reading too much into the handshake and maybe into the smile as well, but if she was giving me "signals," I'd definitely want to reciprocate
