I have been asked to provide voice reading samples by someone who may pay me 300 dollars for reading her e-book (15 chapters...kinda short too). This is completely awesome except I'm not quite sure on where to put voice files online for them to listen to the sample and for others who may come after this to listen to the samples.

So...my fellows...ideas? And also what kind of voice readings should I do? I've got Win Media Player to take a test recording and figured that would be best since she runs Windows on a Mac. I've got a book of Poe, some Grimm Fairy Tales (BIIIIGG leather book), and have been thinking of something a bit more technical.

    So anyhoo...excited...

That sounds really awesome, congrats! As far as where to put audio files...hmm...I don't know of any free sites that would host audio files (like Photo Bucket hosts photos)...could you just email them to her directly?

Also, as far as what to read, I'd go with a similar genre of whatever book she wants you to read for. If it's fantasy, read her some Lord of the Rings. Sci-Fi...Ender's Game. (those are the two genres I'm most familiar with, sorry. ) Or else something classic; Poe would probably be good. Maybe something like 1984 or Fahrenheit 451.

    Good luck!

She does kids books as well as tech documents. Like doing a reading of a presentation.

Requested that they be placed online, I have a feeling that she got a bad file once and thats why she wishes them to be online.

From a couple other people I have found one girl who speaks five different languages makes her entire career off of translating and reading books/presentations/games.
