    Wow I really appriciate you guys more.

    So I had joined a forum for women who were pregnant and having their babies in August on some baby site.

    I joined recently as I have been getting so big I will now sit in front of the computer for hours instead of going and doing stuff.

    Apparently because I was new and had the Bad timing to agree with somone who apparently had created multiple accounts and was BSing everyone, that I must be her.

    I tried to claify that I was indeed somone diffrent and that just proved it in their eyes that I MUST be her.

    So they kept saying really hurtful things and basically ran me off. And because Iam 9 month pregnant and horomonal it made me cry.

    I would just like to say that Really appriciate how nice you all are. And am glad you all are here.
    My sanity has been dripping out of me my whole life, today they turned on the faucet.....

      It is just insane how these women react.

      Im new and have three things in common with the crazy chick oh and bad spelling because im dyslexic. So therefore I MUST be her. It is just insane. I know they are all hormonal but wow.

      And they are adding that I said things I never did.

      I am so very very glad people here are nice, and we have such good mods.

        Contact the moderators. They are the ones who are supposed to be guarding against this kind of stuff. Let them know, maybe they will contact the people who flamed you.

        There are too many forums out there that are run like 'recess for grade 1-7 with the teachers hiding in the lounge'. Too many are started by people who just let the patients run the asylum, or are just as bad (or worse) than the people who post.

        That's why I LOVE this forum (and another one, that I won't mention the name here but they are the same in this regard). The moderators go out of their way to make sure that all are treated equally and fairly.

          Wow, sorry that you went through that Mono.

          If the mods are any kind of useful there, and the board's software doesn't suck, they should be able to prove you're not this other person, since they can check the IPs that you use to connect to the board from.

              VB software is very good for that. It can tell who connected from what IP, and who else connected from that IP - if you know what you're doing.

              However, 'moderator' according to VB is a sort of referee without any real authority - I had to amend the title rules to give our moderators the ability to do the sort of things they do without asking admins for everything.

              Worth bearing in mind.

                That's really awful.

                I'm so sorry they did that to you.

                I'm glad you stick by here, and I'd never want to see you go, but if you find another board for expectant mothers or brand new moms, I wish you better luck next time. What a bunch of whackos!

                  Yeah, but I believe you can still search basic information from the mod (not admin) panel, or shows the IP per post. The software's got a fair bit of redundancy, so there's probably a way. No guarantees they actually know it though. *shrug*

                    Yeah this board rocks.

                    I have decided that they are just crazy and horomonal. Or at least I hope that is their excuse. And the mods @ that board apparently suck.

                          Aw I'm 8 months pregnant and that would have made me cry as well :-(

                          I enjoy the forums at kellymom.com (I think that is right). Everyone there is very friendly and supportive. The website is very pro breastfeeding though, so if that isn't your thing it may not be the place for you.
