  • Hello Kitty Cake

A couple of days ago my best friend asked me to make a "Hello Kitty" cake for her daughter's birthday party. The party was today at Chuck E. Cheese and the hostess damaged the cake while trying to take it out of the box. I wanted to strangle her.

Anyhoo, here's the cake I made for her.

Oh, and I will NEVER hold a birthday party for my child at Chuck E. Cheese. We can go there to play, but that's it.

I don't hear many good things about Chuck E. Cheese either. But I love that cake, it's pretty!

Very nice cake! What flavor was it? I hope it still tasted delicious, at any rate!

I love that cake! It looks like it took forever, though.

Just curious, but my 5 year old desperately wants to have her 6th bday at Chuck E Cheese, and I have never done a party there. Why won't you do it? What was terrible? She may be tall enough to do Six Flags instead, if I have a good enough reason. That's her second choice, that child LOVES roller coasters.

I would much rather do six flags.

At Chuck E. Cheese there was a space towards the back where they set up the parties. They had about ten loooong tables set up and there was a Bday party at each one. The clearance between each table was about three feet, so it was very crouded. Since the party area wasn't closed off, anyone could just come over to your table and mooch off your food or steal something if you weren't laying close attention. Oh, and the "dedicated" hostess was anything but dedicated. We had to keep trying to hunt her down.

For me and my best friend, it just left a bad taste in our mouths.

            Good luck with your party!

              That is gorgeous.

So frustrating when you go to so much work and the cake gets damaged just before it's served.
(Has happened to me several times. )
