  • "Large" fries...

I went to my usual BK today and got my usual (large whopper w/ cheese value meal) plus a small side of cheezy tots. When I got back to the office I was shocked at what I saw:

You call this a "large" fry?? This is AFTER I had put back into there what fell into the bag and I did not eat any on the way home.

Luckily, this is far from the norm and I hope it doesn't become the norm!

That happened to me once at McDonald's. The medium fries from my two-cheeseburger-meal-hold-the-cheese was only about 1/2 full. I didn't care much because they come with the meal and I don't usually eat them all anyway, but still. I try to stick with a regular hamburger and small fries these days.

Had a similar incident with onion rings not too long back. I simply called the store and asked to speak with a manager (politely) and told her what had happened. No cursing, no screaming, just simply stating the problem. She apologized and told me that the next time I came in they'd make it right for me (I couldn't go back right then, the store was about to close for the night). Next day or the day after I went back, and told the person taking my order what the manager had told me and they gave me an entire free meal! I'd have been completely happy with just a proper order of onion rings.

The point is, let the manager of the store know what happened, in a polite, non sucky way, and they'll (probably) do what they can to fix the problem.

Well, I'm writing this off as a "one time" thing, no big deal with me, as Bookie said, the fries aren't the huge part of the meal and since I also had the cheezy tots, I wouldn't have eaten them all anyway. Maybe they're psychic at my BK?

I don't know what I'll do if this BK goes down the tubes. I stopped going to another one a little closer to the office because they went from great to bad in a month. This BK even knows me well enough that I like a couple of mayo packets (for the fries) when I go in and I don't have to ask anymore.

I hate BK french fries, but if they were to get skimpy with the onion rings, I would not be happy.

I would call and tell them about it. If it's been too long to call, just mention it next time you go in.
