Little White Lies
Now you guys read my thread about me not wanting to give my old PC to my brother. Well, today I called him & told him I can't give the PC to him cause it's "acting funny". He bitched, moaned & complained & I said he STILL needs the router & network card for the laptop. So just buy the one on one payday & the other on another payday. He kept saying.."So I have internet access but I can't use it yet!!!!" So then I said to call comcast & see if he can get a router through them. BUT he'll still need a network card.
Not my fault that he got broadband access without first exploring all that the laptop can & can't do. I would have suggested that he start out with dial-up. Nowadays you can get dial-up access for less than $10 a month. I could have set him up with dial-up in a few minutes but nooooooooo...lol.
I told him a little white lie about the old desk-top PC cause I didn't want him yelling at me for me changing my mind about giving him my old computer. I've heard enough of his bitching as it is...lol.
Giving him my laptop for free was one thing but to give him my old desk-top PC just like that I can't see myself doing. It includes the tower, flat screen monitor, keyboard & mouse. For me to give all that I'd want at least $250. Consider that I originally bought my old PC for $500! & the flat screen monitor cost me about $250.
So I'm keeping my old PC in my closet. I think I heard it give a sigh of relief when it learned I wasn't giving it away...lol.
