I have to pick a date for surgery #2 on my ankle.
This surgery is going to address my lack of range of motion. Scar tissue, edema in the bone and joint. The good news is, none of the ligaments are severed completely and they've all pretty much complete bonded together. But due to the severity of my sprain, and the fact that I sprained both sides of my ankle, both sides didn't heal at the same time. So, I have scar tissue from lack of motion and range of motion issues due to lack of motion.
But, prognosis is excellent. They said about 4 months of strict rehab will probably be in my future.
My Oma and Opa from Idaho are going to be in town on Sunday and they're staying for a week. (just found out today) So, I think I'll be pushing out surgery until the week after they're here.
