I am looking for a little bit of a favour if possible please.
Bit of back story: I'm involved in a local project to try and write the history of our little village. I've been tracing a local scandal of a lad who got the vicar's daughter pregnant and fled to America to avoid having to marry her. I've traced him through the census returns etc and found he ended up in NYC as quite an important gentleman.
We've found a private clinic he helped run, the address where he lived and the Turkish baths that he ran. We are now trying to find out if any of these buildings are still standing (all Manhatten based).
What I am looking for help with is if they are, is there anyone who lives close enough to take a couple of photos of the outside of them for me sometime if possible. It's just to help illustrate the story when I write it up. As the chap who runs the local sweetie shop, I am sure we can arrange payment in proper British sweets if anyone is willing to help. (plus any out of pocket expenses obviously like subway fares etc)
