2009 Christmas Card List-Tally Up!

[Sarlon]

according to my house sitter I have a small stack of cards waiting to be opened when I get home, so I'll have an update either LATE tonight or tomorrow.

[Amina516]

Got MadMikes today! It was very pretty.

[Sonoma]

Everything is stamped, addressed, & sealed, going in the mail tomorrow. This was the first day I was able to get to the post office before they closed...of course, it was 30 minutes later, and they were closed, by the time I left.

Loved all the cards I've gotten so far.

[Reyneth]

Sent all mine out on Friday 12th. Hopefully they get to you all safe. Nothing witty inside sadly. I only think of witty remarks after the fact

Got mine tonight, along with what I thought was 5 others.
Sadly, one of those was from my cable company - an AD disguised as a card. Booo.

I'm running out of room on the back of my door.....

I actually sent out two different cards, so some people got the cat-card and others got the Christmas-Story-Santa-Reindeer card. I laughed myself silly when I got trailerparkmedic's card. Great minds think alike and all.

Hee, I put them on separate shelves (on separate bookcases, even!)...don't want them to fight

Was gonna put mine up on the wall but I didn't feel l ike taping them all up (since I had been just stacking them on the shelf until I was allowed to display them). So I'm standing them all up on my bookshelves. I'd post a pic but I don't really have a camera that'll take a decent pic (just my crappy cell phone). If I happen to get one for Christmas (my dad mentioned it, since the camera I have is an old hand-me-down from my brother), I'll take a pic. Though I'm getting my new phone (probably Wednesday - it came today and my dad has it at the house but he won't be home until 9 tomorrow and I don't know if I want to be out that late). Dad says the camera looks like it has a flash, so we'll see what kind of pics it takes.

Guess I'm not the only one who likes Target cards. .

I just have to say, these tiny cards are so cute! I've never seen anything like them in the states.

They're cute but I didn't see mine...my roommate saw it when she got home! If the mail carrier hadn't stuck it in the little label sleeve in the mailbox lid, it'd probably be at the bottom of the box and I'd never know it was there (cuz I can barely reach the bottom!).

[DesignFox]

Got cards from Taboo, AriGriffin and Iradney today! Thank you all! Love 'em!

It's only certain sorting centers that are doing that this year.

Exactly what does one have to do to get that nifty Kermit the Frog stamp on their envelopes? I got a couple cards today that had that stamp.

It's very nifty.

[Pedersen]

i got one back in the mail today. apparently they didn't like the address, so i'm gonna send it back out tomorrow. once i find my envelopes...

Did you use the labels from the PDF? If so, which address did they not like? (please PM me with that info, as I need to make sure no bugs were the cause of that problem)

Yay! People are getting my cards! The US ones went out yesterday, too (well, today, but I dumped them all in the mailbox yesterday).

Today I got cards from Plaidman and AriGriffin (both of the envelopes appeared to have been attacked on the way here...but the cards are all good!).

Thanks!
