2009 Christmas Card List-Tally Up!

Walmart didn't have the 8160s, so I have to hit an office suppy co this weekend. Thank goodness for a trip back home!

Yay! I'm really excited!

I am broke right now and am sending cards to everyone from here plus a good few friends, so my list tops out around 75 - so I was happy when I stumbled across a good solution. I found some really nifty postcard collections at the book store! They're really cute.

I actually won't be home for Christmas; my father just was nice enough to buy me a plane ticket so I could go see my grandparents. However there's plenty of room in my mailbox so as it turns out I'll be opening these when i get home in early January... around my birthday. It works out rather nicely!

Oh dear! There were 18 emails automatically sent, as well as the validation email. It's just too bad you didn't set your filters way back when the emailing was first being tested and when the reminders were going out. It would have saved you a ton of grief.

We did remind everybody about that, though.

I tried to sign up, but didn't get the "activation" email/The final list never showed up in my mailbox!

Check your spam box. If you still have trouble, let us know.

Working my cards right now!

Got my first one yesterday and I have to say a big thanks! It made me smile. This week I had to have some not too fun medical tests and biopsies, got no get well cards or flowers but getting a Christmas card made my day!

Yeah, I'm okay. They were looking at my digestive track to make sure my IBS actually is IBS and not something worse. It's gotten really really bad. So far everything looks like it's good.

Oh, been through those tests. Well, in my case they went through me. Not fun, though I had a few good moments.

Filled in the form in the waiting room pre-procedure, including the part saying, "How do you like to be addressed?"

"So, come this way ... Lord Vader?"

I have a vague memory of waking up for a moment during one of the tests and being so out of it on the drugs that I started giggling about having a hose up the ass before going right back to sleep again.
