2009 Christmas Card List-Tally Up!

Thanks for re-posting the instructions for printing the labels. I had to do several searches before I hit the right keywords.

Got my labels printed. International cards ready to go to post office. Domestic will be done this week. Unfortunately my work schedule makes it fun trying to get to the post office when they're open.

I've been updating my tallies as I've got the cards.

This week i got a special one. From me! I got so carried away when i was writing and addressing them that I must have forgotten to remove my own sticker from the sheet of addresses!

I did until I read Pedersens step by step instructions for printing them out. You have to unclick or click some boxes on the print screen and they come out beeyoutiful! They are on this thread somewhere.

Thank you, thank you - and Pedersen! I was careful to read the thread before posting, but I apparently lost some of the 43 pages. Oops.

Tis okay. That's the reason for one of the changes for next year's list, though: I'm going to include full instructions (with a screenshot) for people to use to get the printing done, and that's going to go in the email *and* be attached to the thread.

Should make things a bit easier.

And that's a reason for another change for next year: It's already custom making your PDF, why not remove you from the list? I was actually worried this would happen. So, it just proves that a small change can help. Even if not making it can make for an amusing story

I'd check your post office on Wednesday, I think, if you haven't gotten mine by then. Mine went out either Wednesday or Thursday, and with the distance between our locations, you should get it no later than Wednesday.

I know this has been touched on before but make sure you seal your envelopes I had a card fall out on me and USPS sent me the empty envelope back

Ok, my cards are all addressed, and I'm almost done personalizing them. Should get the internationals out in the next day or two, then I'll work on getting the US cards out.

Still got some car repairs to do, ARGH. That car is making the holidays tough this year...siiiiiiiigh. On the plus side, my grandmother is getting me a new car battery for Christmas!

I've LOVED getting so many cards this year! I have them all up on my mantle! See?

Joi, your mantle is pretty!! I wish I had one. I have all the cards on a string hanging on the wall. Cinema guys (tiny! LOL) card filled the last spot and I have to hang another string.
